Working with the team at @bandbstudio on the redesign of Belvoir, aimed at growing the brand, with more consumer engagement and to appeal to a younger audience. Whilst they were working on these beautiful strong colours + wild new illustrations, I helped them craft the new Belvoir logo type, developed from the original, making it much more natural + modern.
“Belvoir’s new graphic identity and packaging design seeks to sensitively evolve the key assets from the existing and hugely recognisable design – including its handwritten type, angled label and ingredient illustrations – in a new, more wild, direction. The type, including the brand logotype crafted by Rachel Joy Price, becomes less ornate and calligraphic for a more natural and contemporary feel, while the illustrations are not so carefully placed in the layout but are instead allowed to grow into the design from the side as they would in nature.”

I worked with the team at Elmwood to modernise the Galaxy & Dove logos, alongside Elmwood’s redesign of all the Galaxy & Dove packaging worldwide.
The first launch of the updated logo appeared on the new ‘Galaxy Truffle’ gift boxes.
The roll-out across all packaging will start to appear on shelves over the next year…
I worked with the team at Elmwood on the flavours for Alpro ice creams…
A little bit of background to the job: Elmwood had recently worked on a rebrand for Alpro, and so it came to the turn of the ice creams to be bought in line and have their update with the smart new branding.
My brief was to make the lettering for the flavour variants of the ice creams ‘playfully indulgent’, inspired by Alpro’s ‘expressive audience and their bold attitude to take control of their plant-based choices.’ So the type had to feel smooth and delicious but also some movement and energy through the flow of it, to tick the playful box. We then extended the style onto custard and chocolate desserts.
A big thanks again to Emily, Amy, Stacy and the rest of the team at Elmwood, always a joy to work with you guys.
Apple Christmas Campaign Lettering
Media Arts Lab - TBWA
The team at MAL asked me to work with them on the lettering for the end line of the 2018 Apple Christmas Advert ‘Share your Gifts’. I worked on localised versions in French, German, Italian, Spanish and Turkish.
Apple then invited me to do one of their ‘Today At Apple’ Sessions at the Regent Street store, talking about the process behind doing the lettering, showing some of my other work and then leading attendees through a session to create their own piece of lettering…
I had the pleasure of working with the lovely team at B&B Studio once again on the type for Pimp My Salad - bringing ‘the joyful energy, reflecting the playful pleasure of healthy eating’.

Proud to have worked with the team at Elmwood on the lettering for ‘Hana’, a contraceptive pill now available without a prescription, in the UK.
There was an article in the PharmaTimes about this work and the landmark moment for women and their access to contraception. Here are few lines from it that explain why I feel so proud to be part of jobs like this one…
“In 1993, The Economist named the birth control pill one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World…This sense of freedom is inherent within Hana…
Women’s sexual health services were overstretched and underfunded even before the pandemic, but lockdown made a ‘difficult situation even worse’... now is the time to rethink how we present products for women’s reproductive health and beyond. This landmark change should be a call to arms for the industry to work harder to make medication, devices and services more accessible, personal and empowering. And not just with the pill, but in other areas such as postnatal depression, fertility, period pain and menopause."

Lettering to sit on pack to give emphasis on the use of each grooming product.
The lettering was used on packaging and further onto communications… they even put them on some jumpers!
Someone Agency
I worked with the team at Someone on type for BeanZ, a new brand from Strauss Coffee. We did a series of expressive signatures for a range of Farmer’s Harvest limited edition coffee packs.
Secondly, a bespoke energetic typeface for the brand to use across its core ‘Crafted Blends’ and further communications. I drew out the typeface with variations on letters, and the team at Someone used a typographer to turn it into a workable font.

Lettering for a new Mauritian food brand.
The name, ‘Zoli-Zoli’ meaning ‘beautiful-beautiful’ in Mauritian Creole.
The team at Bright & Bold wanted to create a ‘vibrant and lively aesthetic to reflect the personality of this colourful island and its zingy food flavours.’ I helped craft the Zoli Zoli type based on the type found in and around the streets of Mauritius.
Thanks & credit to Bright & Bold for the images!⠀⠀

Lettering for the Agency Me & Dave, to help bring to life their offer to their clients.
Lettering for ‘Sergio’ @ciaosergiodelivery - a new community of restauranteurs and gourmands in Milan. The lettering needed to be modern and sleek, to work over the top of food photography. It has a bit of an 80s neon feel to it, hinting at a restaurant sign.
‘Sergio is a project from people who love restaurants, in collaboration with people who love restaurants. We take care of the ingredients, and of the relationship between the restauranteur and their clients.’

Mirsi Shop (Wales)
Logo for a mother & daughter duo in Wales, with a passion for art and fashion.
The type was inspired by the handwriting of the daughter + the raw painterly signatures of Artists on a canvas. Monogram versions and other brush textures / circles were created to give them the flexibility to use across tissue paper / bag stamps / social media etc…
