Beefeater x Rachel Joy
More coming soon…
Love Wins
Rachel Joy X Posca
I recently had the pleasure of being asked by Posca to create a piece based on ‘Love’… I gave them some options on phrases/words and they chose ‘Love Wins’.
It was created to be a give-away on the Posca instagram, to share the love!
Keep on Rising
For Go Cardless London Offices
Gocardless had recently gone under a big update to their identity + strategy and along with that also renovated their offices. They wanted me to do a piece along this entrance wall, inspired by them!
‘Could it be Better?’
For TD London Studio
Asked by Turner Duckworth to bring to life one of their studio catch phrases ‘could it be better?’ on a wall in their London studio.
Couldn’t have enjoyed this anymore, spending a week around a lovely bunch of people and getting to paint with @jasondrake14 (credit also for the photos 📸)
… and yes, I think it could be better - always!
Comic Relief Red Nose Day 2022
I was one of 11 artists to work with Comic Relief and TK Maxx raising money for Red Nose Day 2022.
For the very first time, TK Maxx joined forces with 11 artists to support the fantastic work of registered charity Comic Relief. The designs were used across the T-shirt, homeware and stationery collection exclusively available in TX Maxx Stores and online.
Brave for B&B Studio, London
This is on the wall behind where the design team sit. I love the work that they do and have been lucky to work on a few jobs over the last few years with them, so it was a pleasure to paint this for them.
o2 Brixton Academy ‘Here comes Brighter’ campaign
At the entrance to The Other Art Fair - Summer 2021, in collaboration with CALM
“It's a pleasure to be painting a piece for The Other Art Fair + CALM, I believe in the power art has as a narrative / to convey a message or feeling, particularly in public spaces. I find the process of creating often like therapy, a healing space sometimes, and so this is a special one to share that process with CALM + put something out in public that connects with people.”

o2 Brixton Academy ‘Here comes Brighter’ campaign
Asked by Blank Walls to be involved in o2’s campaign as the UK starts to heal from the Covid impact. Alongside 13 other artists, each assigned a venue across the UK to paint with the lyrics from the Five Stairsteps song ‘ Ooh Child’.

Le Chocolat des Français
Le Salon du Chocolat Paris 2022
I was asked to help bring some colour to the back-wall of the very cool ‘Le chocolat des Français’ stand at the infamous Salon du Chocolat in Paris Oct 2022.
A very full on 24 hours painting, for a lovely company, with a very fun team mate in Chris Sejean.
Bring the Joy Back
Commissioned by Westfield Stratford City to paint a positive message as the UK began unlocking in April 2021, with shops opening and the centre being full of life again. This piece is as the top of the stairs at the entrance to the bridge over into Westfield. Painted over 4 days with the support of Artist Jason Drake.

Westfield London
The world is better with you in it,
and now I’m all the better for seeing you.
Commissioned by Westfield London to do a piece of artwork to wrap round 3 empty units in the White City shopping centre. This was installed in June 2021 as the UK opened up after the lockdown, so my brief was to bring to life a message of positivity and love.
Adidas London
Commissioned by Adidas to paint two pieces in their new London Showrooms.
A welcome to their reception, and a second bigger piece in the studio floor, working with Neon Circus to get the Adidas logo made into Neon.
Reebok - Adidas London
Part of the recent job for Adidas was also a piece of artwork for Reebok. This was printed & installed onto a row of cupboards in the reception area.
It was a different starting point to be given a logo to make into something 3D, rather than crafting the whole type from scratch. There were also obviously parameters, in that couldn’t do any manipulating to the actual logo - details to the face of the letters - inner shadows etc. This led to adding more to the depth, in this layering way to bring some different tones and some detail to the piece.
With Ben Eine for London Mural Festival by Global Street Art
Invited by Ben to do a collaboration on a wall in Leyton as part of the London Mural Festival organised by the Global Street Art team.
Really enjoyed the more spontaneous style of working with the space, sketching out straight onto the wall - helpful bricks to give horizontals and a way of measuring weight of the letters.
Lloyds direct, a startup acquired by Lloyds pharmacy, ‘started by people who rely on medicine to maintain a healthy quality of life’. Lots of change for the company since 2015 and along with that they did a big piece of work internally to ‘reset the dial and give ourselves some positive long term goals’, led by Andy Ainger. @ainger
I was asked by Andy to bring to life their new vision and mission statements which would go on display in offices / warehouses / screen savers etc, as a reminder of the ambition of the business and the culture at the core of the team.
He gave me a great starting point of some photos of some ‘lovely hand-drawn medicine packaging and shop fronts in West London’ - and told me to be inspired by an era of pharmacy but with a contemporary twist’ - a lot of that coming from the bright colours, always!
If you fancy reading more - you can find an article by Andy Ainger about the work on his medium!
Ogilvy & Mather Group
Commissioned by Ogilvy to create a piece of lettering inspired by a summer limited edition of the classic Bombay Sapphire Gin.
The Limited Edition: English Estate was inspired by countryside around the home of Bombay Sapphire, the Laverstoke Mill Distillery in Hampshire.
Foreign Policy Magazine 50th Birthday
I was asked by Lori Kelly, at Foreign Policy Magazine in Washington DC, to work on the cover of their 50th anniversary print issue. A really nice brief, with freedom to play with the position of their ‘FP’ Flag (logo), to incorporate it into the artwork.
There was an additional challenge in the brief for the type to work with a half cover flap, which evokes the original skinny format of the FP journal from 1970 - intended to fit inside the pocket of a man’s suit.
The original cover was in a Didot Weight, Lori + the team went through their archives to bring these details back for this special issue. The inside is a treat for the eyes, lots of beautiful layouts, including illustrations by Noma Bar + Joan Wong.
Turner Duckworth + Rob Clarke
I worked on producing hand painted signs for each of the coffees in this range for Taylor’s of Harrogate. The type developed by Rob Clarke and painted by myself. The team at Turner Duckworth then went onto photograph the large paintings and translate them onto packaging.
“Presenting our new work for Taylors of Harrogate, a design that pays homage to both the brand’s creative and Yorkshire roots. Inspired by hand painted sign-writing which can still be seen throughout the region, we captured the craft and expression of each blend in a typically simple and down to earth Yorkshire manner, bringing some much needed clarity to the complex coffee shelf. True to the tradition of sign-writing, we crafted bespoke hand lettering for each individual blend. Capturing the unique qualities of the brewing process; the soft pressing of a Cafetière, velvety swirls of a Latte or the robust character of an Espresso. Shapes developed by Rob Clarke + lovingly brought to life by signwriter Rachel Joy Price”
Working with OurTypes
My first font - ’Joy Sans’. Based on the bevelled 3D style I often work in, Joy Sans was inspired by forms used in traditional sign painting, where my lettering roots began. It comes in 2 alternative cuts

Intertype Studio
A lovely brief to be asked to do the Ace of Diamonds by Asa of Intertypestudio, as part of a limited-edition deck of playing cards - a tribute to the Kings & Queens of the NHS and other keyworkers, with all funds raised going to charity. I also helped Asa out with the ‘THANKYOU’ type on the front of the box.
18 artists & illustrators contributed ideas that are representative of our gratitude to the COVID Heroes and Heroines.
The cards are printed on Casino quality stock by LNS print and are available to buy from @intertypestudio now (link in their bio). Limited edition run, only 190 decks are available at £25 each whilst 10 ‘gilt edged’ decks are available at £45 each with all money going to NHS Charities Together and Mind.

Williams Murray Hamm
November 2020, further improvements at Britain’s biggest railway stations meant that Network Rail Passengers could benefit from free and unlimited WiFi.
To launch this service WMH created a campaign that simply wraps the message in the WiFi symbol. I worked with them to bring this idea to life, crafting the type into the shape and giving it impact.

VC London’s summer festival in Wales.
‘Head Strong’ - I was given a helmet to do whatever I wanted with. It was auctioned off at the festival to raise money to support the work of VC London.
At the festival I ran workshops throughout the weekend, allowing the ladies to have a go at sign painting a letter onto a piece of wood.
